Our re-launch, on Wednesday 4th March, of the Parent Teachers Fundraising Association was a very positive event, which was well attended and saw many new people (both staff and families) there.
We decided to generate a new name for our work. From hereon we will be called MAYFIELD TOGETHER.
We have decided that we need a new badge/emblem for our group and our School Council will be charged with undertaking a decision process and choosing the image for Mayfield Together.
Mayfield Together has two aims:
1) to positively raise the profile of Mayfield Primary School and bring the community closer together;
2) to raise funds for identified projects that support the social and academic learning experience for all our children.
OUR FUND RAISING OUTCOMES
Thanks to the work of the pre-existing PTFA we are able to complete the Land of Oz Picnic Garden in its entirety, which is now under construction for the potential benefit and use of potentially every child at Mayfield. This has been partly funded by this group and huge credit and thanks is due to members, both past and present, for their hard work and dedication. We will endeavour to be as successful as we move forward from here.
During our next meeting we will be setting a new goal/project with fund raising targets to aim for. We will share this with you.

* 2020/2021 diary of events will be delayed until we have further clarity around the Covid-19 restrictions and conditions during Autumn Term 2020.
