If uniform is not adhered to then parents will be contacted by a member of the senior leadership team, first verbally and then if required in writing, and an appropriate amount of time will then be given for it to be changed. If families are finding difficulty with maintaining or adhering to any part of the school uniform due to costs then feel free to contact school confidentially and ask to speak with Mrs Carlton (our Family Learning Mentor) who may be able to help. School will help as much as possible so as to ensure that cost does not become a barrier to following uniform policy.
Please note the uniform list as checks are undertaken.
Uniform can be purchased directly from school.  (See Purchasing Uniform Tab)
** The children do NOT need to bring a pair of indoor shoes.
** Tights must only be blue, grey or black and not multi coloured.
** Children should have their natural hair colour. Hair dye is not permitted.
** Make up must not be worn - including nail varnish.

WE WOULD RECOMMEND AGAINST WEARING ANY JEWELLERY (STUD EARRINGS MAY BE WORN BUT WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR THEM TO BE REMOVED IF THEY PRESENT A RISK TO A CHILD’S SAFETY DURING PARTICULAR ACTIVITIES). CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED TO WEAR EARRINGS FOR PE. IF IT IS YOUR CHILD’S PE DAY THEN PLEASE ENSURE THESE ARE TAKEN OUT AT HOME PRIOR TO ATTENDING SCHOOL THAT DAY. WATCHES MAY BE WORN BUT ONLY WHEN THE CHILDREN ARE ABLE TO USE THEM TO TELL THE TIME! SMART WATCHES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN SCHOOL AND WILL BE KEPT BY SCHOOL AND RETURNED TO FAMILIES IF BROUGHT IN.
**Children may use two school bags – a book bag and a PE bag.
**Children who do not bring PE kit will be required to take part using spare uniform provided by school.
**Hair bands or clips must be small and discrete. They should not be ‘oversized and overtly colourful’.
TOYS, GAMES AND TRADING CARDS FROM HOME ARE NOT PERMITTED IN SCHOOL AT ANY TIME – UNLESS REQUESTED FOR A PARTICULAR EVENT.
