OUR ACHIEVEMENT SUCCESS STORY FOR 2022!

  Even more reasons to join the rise of Mayfield Primary School!

We are not required to report the end of Key Stage 2 outcomes for 2022, but we felt compelled to share this huge success story. Despite the impact of the pandemic, Mayfield's children have continued to make strong progress from their individual starting points. In a time when figures nationally have dropped, Mayfield has seen a rise in its pupil outcomes and is above almost all national comparisons in 2022 (and in many cases well above national comparisons).

I particularly want to highlight our 'Disadvantaged Group' performance. This is a measure which may have been particularly affected and has dropped nationally, yet our children within this group have performance stronger than ever before. They have flown over comparisons and jumped every hurdle. A superb performance. School receives additional, collective funding through the Pupil Premium for this group and it is great to see the high standard of outcomes as a result of our well planned use of resources.

These outcomes are a testament to the way in which the children have received their smaller group tuition, the impact of our innovative Classroom Craft systems, our new approach to the curriculum and the tight focus we have had upon pupil's individual journeys and starting points that has produced a superb performance. Great results to back up and follow our super Ofsted inspection.

There are always areas to develop and work upon, but we must also take time to celebrate our performance. Not every year can produce such figures but when it does we want to share the news.
