AFTER SCHOOL'S COOL
Mayfield offering full after school provision from 3.15pm each day.
Our After School provision known as After School's Cool opens at 3.15pm each day. Collection is made within school and the provision is situated in its own bespoke setting within our school building and grounds. Families can collect their child/ren from the After School's Cool driveway entrance at any time up to closing. After School's Cool staff are on hand to pick up any messages and meet with everyone. The provision is run by Miss Kirkham, Miss GeBauer and Miss McCormack and this provision is supported by a number of other school staff where required. All staff are those who work with the children, or in school, throughout the day and know the families and children well.
Provision is supported by our partners Sports Cool: Fylde, who work with school to offer a personalised hour of active, sporting provision each day for the first half of After School's Cool until 4.30pm. This forms part of our standard offer and is included as part of the cost. Children can decide if they wish to take part in the active, sporting offer or wish to spend time in other areas of our provision which includes art, craft and other team games. Snacks are offered to all children as part of the daily offer. Miss Kirkham prepares a snack menu each week, varying what is available each day for the children.
The provision itself, including booking systems, are managed by Ms Willmott and Mrs Thomason. Please contact the school office in person or email info@mayfield.lancs.sch.uk for more information or to book your child into the wrap around provision.
Costs for After School's Cool: £6.50 per day.
We continue to build and develop our After School's Cool offer each term and each year.
We request that you provide as much notice as possible to book places on the provision, but ad-hoc bookings and shorter notice bookings can be made as we understand unforeseen circumstances do arise and cover may suddenly be required.
It is our standard procedure to request payment at the time in full in order to ensure that large monies owed do not start to gather.
School leaders reserve the right to refuse access to the provision if it is deemed in the best interests of the parties concerned.
