Our School Day

 DAILY TIMETABLE

  Morning

THE BUILDING OPENS FOR 'EARLY RISERS BREAKFAST CLUB' AND OTHER PRE-SCHOOL CLUBS ONLY FROM 7.30AM.

(If not arriving for either of these, we ask that children do not arrive on site until at least 8.40am.)

 THE SCHOOL BELL RINGS AT 8.45AM. DOORS OPEN.

(Doors open earlier in bad weather at the discretion of school leaders.)

MORNING REGISTRATION IS FROM 8.45AM TO 9.00AM.

Children receive a Brain Break for snacks within their morning timetable.

   Lunchtime

Takes place between 12.00pm and 12.45pm.

Dining Hall uses dynamic sitting times with year groups following each other throughout the 45 minutes.

The children have an equal mix of time for lunch and outdoor active time in our Play Zones. 

Afternoon registration lasts for a 5 minute period after the end of lunchtime in each case.

   Afternoon

Children may receive an a comfort break during the afternoon between sessions at the discretion of the class teacher. 

SCHOOL FINISHES AT 3.15PM, HOWEVER WE ATTEMPT TO OPERATE A STAGGERED COLLECTION SYSTEM WITH CHILDREN BEING RELEASED A FEW MINUTES EARLIER THAN THIS IN EARLY YEARS, YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 IN ORDER TO AID SAFE COLLECTION.

SCHOOL GATES (DEPENDENT UPON LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN THE PLAYGROUND & FIELD) OPEN AT APPROXIMATELY 3.00PM. 

TUESDAY - THURSDAY: EXTRA-CURRICULAR CLUBS OPERATE AFTER 3.15PM.

AFTER SCHOOL'S COOL OPENS FROM 3.15PM FOR FAMILIES WHO REQUIRE IT. THIS IS OPEN EACH DAY.

The school week consists of 32.5 hours (not including before and after school activities/clubs).
